02- PVTC 2012

The third edition of the PhotoVoltaic Technical conference took place from 6 to 8 June 2012 in the Aix-en-Provence Congress Center. The conference was dedicated to "Thin Film & Advanced Silicon Solutions".

 

5 keynote speakers have participated in the conference:

  • Martin GREEN, University of New South Wales, Executive Research Director of the University's Photovoltaic Centre of Excellence, Sydney, Australia
  • Jozef POORTMANS, Programme Director of the Strategic Programme SOLAR+ and Director of the Department "Solar and Organic Technologies, IMEC, Leuven, Belgium
  • David MITZI, IBM, T.J. Watson Research Centre, USA
  • Makoto KONAGAI, Tokyo Tech, Japan
  • David GINLEY, Research Fellow Manager and Manager of the Process Technology and Advanced Concepts Group, NREL, National Renewable Energy Laboratory, USA
 

More than 30 oral presentations, 70 flash talk presentations (poster presented in three minutes) and more than 90 posters were realised during the conference.


A part of the conference is dedicated to exhibitors. In 2012, 11 companies/laboratories were exhibitors.


More than 220 persons have participed in PVTC 2012 from many countries: France, Germany, Japan, USA, Australia, China, Spain, Russia, Switzerland, Tunisia, Algeria, Belgium, Italy, Poland, India, Taiwan, Armenia, etc...

 

    

 

 

 

03- PVTC 2011

The second edition of the PhotoVoltaic Technical Conference took place from 25 to 27 May 2011 in the Aix-en-Provence Congress Center. The conference was dedicated to "Thin Film & Advanced Solutions".


5 keynote speakers have participated in the conference:

  • Jean-Michel NUNZI, Canada Research Chair in Chiral Photonics, Queen's Univesity, Ontario, Canada

  • Frank DIMROTH, 2010 Foundation Louis D. Award, Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE, Freiburg, Germany

  • Miro ZEMAN, Laboratory of Photovoltaic Materials and Devices, Delft, The Netherlands

 

31 oral presentations was realized and 85 posters was presented during the posters session. 


A part of the conference is dedicated to exhibitors. In 2011, 10 companies/Laboratories were exhbitors.


More than 210 persons have participated in PVTC 2011 from many countries: USA, Mexico, France, Germany, Belgium, Japan, Czech Republic, Morocco, Canada, Russia, Algeria, Ukraine, The Netherlands, United-Kingdom, China, etc...


LOCATION OF THE EVENT

At the heart of this city of art and culture, well-known for its architectural beauty and first-class hospitality. Its landscapes are dominated by the "Sainte Victoire" mountain painted by the famous artist from Aix, Paul Cezanne.
